The Front of House Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests while managing the front-of-house team. This position requires a blend of hospitality expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for food and beverage service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant or hotel environments, with experience in supervising and training staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained. Manage team schedules, delegating tasks effectively to optimise workflow and enhance productivity. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and encouraging staff development through ongoing training. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and quality control. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist both staff and customers as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising roles within the hospitality industry, particularly in restaurants or hotels. Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills. Background in culinary arts or food production is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Experience as a barista or familiarity with beverage service is an advantage. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
