We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a background in food and beverage operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily front-of-house activities, ensure smooth service delivery, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or barista roles is highly desirable, along with supervisory experience and team management capabilities.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently.
Assist with food safety compliance and maintain cleanliness standards within the service area.
Support the team in food production tasks when necessary, including basic cooking and culinary duties.
Handle guest enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming environment.
Train new staff members on service protocols, health & safety procedures, and company policies.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and food preparation teams.
Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and leadership at all times.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous.
Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as hotel or barista work is preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction.
