we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a smooth operation within the front of house area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.
Train, supervise, and support front of house staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding food preparation and service.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labour costs effectively.
Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members alike.
Familiarity with bartending practices is an advantage.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills to manage various responsibilities efficiently.
