For nearly 40 years, Pontardulais MOT Centre has been more than just a garage - we're a family-run business at the heart of our community. We might be small, but we have big reputation, built on trust, quality service, and word of mouth from our loyal customers.

We're now looking for someone to join us in the role of front of house - the friendly face that greets our customers and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is all about the right person. Experience in the motor trade is great, but not essential. If you've got strong organisational skills, enjoy working with people, and can juggle a few things at once, we'd love to hear from you.

The role is varied - one minute you might be answering the phone or booking in an MOT, the next you could be chasing parts, sorting returns, or liaising with the team in the workshop. It's busy, rewarding, and you'll play a vital part in making sure our customers continue to get the friendly, reliable service we're known for.

If you already have some knowledge of the industry, that's a bonus - and if you're a technician looking to take a step back from the tools but still want to be part of the garage environment, this could be a great fit for you too. We're open to the right person, whatever your background.

What you need to bring:

What your day-to-day duties will involve:

Dealing with general enquiries whether face to face or over the phone Contacting customers to update them on the progress of their vehicle Building quotes and sending to customers via our in-house texting service Monitoring job-sheets Organising parts returns Ordering parts for incoming work
