We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist in various tasks, including food preparation and guest services, while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
Assist in food preparation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
Provide information about menu items, including upselling specials to enhance guest experience.
Handle cash transactions with basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary basics is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
