You will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of our front of house, working closely with both guests and kitchen staff.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and dining spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs promptly. Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary requirements to enhance guest experience. Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues effectively. Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Basic maths skills for order processing and cash handling. A genuine desire to help others and provide excellent guest services. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
