Reception duties: check in guests, taking payments
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests. Your role will involve ensuring a pleasant dining experience by efficiently managing guest interactions, taking orders. You will play a vital part in maintaining the high standards of hospitality that our patrons expect.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured. Provide information about menu items and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Engage in upselling techniques to promote special menu items or promotions. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and billing.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for guest services. Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of serving techniques. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Kitchen or culinary experience is an advantage but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week

Work Location: In person
