Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team, we are seeking people who are 18+ only due to the person chosen being able to sell alcohol. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere while assisting with various tasks related to hospitality, bar work and guest services.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, bar area and dining spaces. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records using basic math skills. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during busy periods. Working both on the floor and behind the bar. We also have an event space which we do use, as much as event based experiance would be ideal it is not key to this role, it is something we can train someone on.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for patrons. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle peak service times efficiently. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn new skills within the role. Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
