Job Summary

We are looking for calm, friendly people who like interacting with customers. Responsibilities will include meeting and greeting customers, taking orders, making drinks, serving food and taking payments. Previous experience helpful but not essential as full training will be provided. Suit someone looking for either full time, part time or even just seasonal work. Daytime shifts only. No evenings. Lunch provided. Cost of transport reimbursed

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their visit. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times. Manage cash handling processes, including basic maths skills for processing payments accurately. Support team members as needed, demonstrating strong time management skills to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with a passion for providing excellent customer experiences. Basic culinary knowledge is an advantage, alongside an understanding of food safety practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour that encourages guest interaction. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. A willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic team environment.
