The Role



As a

Front of House Team Member

, you'll be the face of Barnsgrove -- welcoming members, ensuring impeccable service, and helping create unforgettable experiences. You'll work across our restaurant, bar, and event spaces, contributing to the smooth running of daily service and special occasions.

Key Responsibilities



Warmly welcome members and guests, assisting with seating and any special requests. Take and serve food and drink orders efficiently and professionally. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and confidently upsell menu items. Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas. Handle member queries and resolve issues with care and professionalism. Support the setup and delivery of events to ensure smooth, high-quality experiences. Assist with training and supporting new team members when needed.

What We're Looking For



Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred (but not essential for the right person). A genuine passion for hospitality and a drive to go the extra mile. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management. Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive, team-focused attitude with a sense of pride in presentation. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A driver's licence or reliable transport (Barnsgrove is not easily accessible by public transport).

Salary

Hourly rate, dependent on experience for the role TRONC payments from gratuity, tips and service charge
