We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and engaging in upselling to enhance the dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for handling transactions. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining high service standards. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. A keen interest in the food industry and a passion for delivering quality service.

Pay: 21,367.50-32,718.49 per year
