Job Overview

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every customer has a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Greet and welcome customers as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly. Provide assistance to customers with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy service periods. Experience or knowledge in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. Familiarity with food preparation processes within a kitchen environment. Understanding of food safety standards to maintain a safe dining environment. A helpful attitude towards customers and team members alike, fostering a positive work culture. Culinary skills or experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential.
