Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team at Bar Serenity. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of hospitality, from food preparation to assisting guests with their needs. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere using our digital reservation system. Follow the order of service to ensure all guests receive our detailed customer service. Take orders accurately and efficiently using an ipad ensuring all allergies are recorded, utilising basic maths skills for transactions. Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and celebrating our guests with Birthdays etc Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area by following our checklists in place, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service and guest satisfaction. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety practices. complete induction training outlining all venue policies and risk assessments.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services. Basic maths skills for handling transactions effectively. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be able to provide a run down of section when requested by team lead. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred but can be taught on the job. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members alike. Flexibility to work various shifts at our venues, including evenings, bank holidays and weekends as required. An awesome smile! have fun at work and enjoy what you do.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
