We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements. Provide excellent guest services by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience while maximising sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and waiting areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for billing purposes. Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent guest service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation processes is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A keen interest in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
