Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. Flexibility over shifts are required with rotas available to you 3 weeks in advance allowing you to plan your life!, assisting with guest services, and contributing to the overall dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Assist in food service and ensure all dishes meet our high standards of food safety and presentation. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, employing upselling techniques to enhance their dining experience. Manage cash transactions to ensure accurate billing. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and bar spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Utilise time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A keen interest in the hospitality industry with a willingness to learn and grow within the team. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 11.44-12.10 per hour
