Duties

Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages with professionalism Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are maintained Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations Handle guest enquiries promptly and resolve any issues courteously Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required Manage cash register operations, including basic maths for billing purposes Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and contributing to team success
