Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take and process orders accurately, ensuring all guest requests are met with attention to detail. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or a restaurant environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in serving food and beverages with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills, particularly in guest services.
