Front Of House Team Member
Job Description
Waiter/ waitress wanted to join a busy hotel, bar & restaurant in the heart of Scotland. We are looking to expand our front of house team at The Old Mill Inn, an award-winning Inn located in the scenic town of Pitlochry.
Full-time, seasonal positions until the end of October. Permanent positions may be available for the right candidates.
Daily tasks will include:
Warmly greeting and seating guests upon their arrival
Arranging dinner reservations for guests and any special requests
Providing the highest level of customer service
Providing a professional and warm guest service across all points; phone, email and in person
Assisting on the bar as required
Assisting on the restaurant floor as required
Assisting with breakfast service and morning set up
Above all, providing 5-star customer service level which exceeds guest expectations
Minimum of 45-hour week including shift, evening & weekend work
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience Strong serving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Excellent time management abilities Basic math skills for handling transactions A background in hospitality is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided Ability to provide exceptional guest services Fluent spoken and written English You must be eligible to work in the UK
