Overview
We are seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience. We are looking for staff that can work during the day.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the front of house area
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and basic maths
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance customer experience
This role is ideal for someone that can work during the day through the week & some weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Work Location: In person
