We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and a passion for culinary excellence, customers service skills and the ability to work in different departments based on the needs of the business.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling items where appropriate. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales using basic maths skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to enhance their experience.

Skills

Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Excellent guest services skills, with a friendly demeanour that makes customers and guests of the hotel feel valued. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine approach to guest interactions. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu offerings will be highly regarded.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
