We are seeking an experienced, fun, someone whose into their local food scene and enthusiastic team member to join us at our busy Swanage cafe / restaurant / farm shop / butchery.

We are provenance and localism at its best - complete tracibility from local farms and fisherman delivered onto plates.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, managing customer orders, making amazing coffees, serving food and maintaining high standards of food safety. Duties

Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests and requirements are met. Serving meals to tables. Making barista coffees. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assisting in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Providing assistance to guests as required, addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Assisting with catering for private and public events in addition to normal duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality environment is essential, including barista trained. A genuine interest in local food. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting. A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members alike. A wicked smile!
