Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Assist guests in menu selection and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Take and process orders accurately, ensuring that all guest requests are met promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the highest quality of service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding guest services is essential.
