Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. This role involves ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall dining experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication between front of house and back of house operations. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is an advantage. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to serving and food preparation.
