Overview

We are recruiting for EXPERIENCED Waiting staff on a FULL TIME BASIS so this role is not suitable for students!

The Front of House Staff play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. This position involves direct interaction with customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and courteously. As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant. Applicants must be reliable and able to work evening and weekend shifts on a rota basis as required.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens to assist guests effectively. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and billing. Ensure the dining area is clean, well-organised, and set up for optimal guest experience.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a Front of House role. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not essential. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
