Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic
Barista / Waiter(ess)
to join ourtakeaway French bakery
.This is a
part-time position
, workingWednesday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
andSaturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
these hours include a30-minute break
each day.Please note:
our premises operate on a takeaway-only basis
, so there isno table service
.Key Responsibilities
Prepare the shop for opening, ensuring displays and products are ready before service. Serve customers, prepare coffees, and handle takeaway food orders promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the day, including regular cleaning routines. Adhere to all
food safety
andhygiene regulations
, ensuring proper storage and handling of all food items. Manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining quality and service standards. Support and collaborate with team members to create a positive, efficient working environment. Restock shelves and displays as needed throughout the day.Requirements
Previous experience in a cafe, bakery, or food service environment. Strong understanding of
food safety
andhygiene practices
. Excellenttime management
andmultitasking
abilities. Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 31 per week
