Overview


We are searching for the ideal Front Office Receptionist, who will be personable, approachable, dependable and engaging. Front Office Receptionists are responsible for front-line service to guests, welcoming them to the Hotel and wishing them on their way when they depart. They will work to the direction of the Front Office Supervisors and Duty Managers, handling a broad range of elementary front desk tasks and upholding the standard for high quality guest interaction in front of their team.

Responsibilities



Ensure the highest levels of customer service are delivered at all times when checking in and checking out all guests. Adhere to and follow the Company standards at all times when interacting with guests through both the check in and checkout procedures. Effective operation of the front office system - On Q - by following the brand operating procedures at all times. Ensure that all administration duties are carried out in a timely manner and adhering to Company policies and procedures. Ensure the Company cash management procedures are adhered to at all times. Ensure that all banking, floats, billing, and correspondence are fully completed prior to the end of your shift. Ensure effective communication to guests of all services and outlets within the hotel such as the F&B Outlets. Being proactive with guests and customers to ensure assistance is provided in a timely manner. Effective handling of guest questions and complaints, escalating to a more senior member of the team if necessary. Professional and timely response to any telephone calls whether internally or external. Meet individual and team targets as set by the Front Office Manager or nominated deputy. Deliver ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Front Office Manager and/or Nominated Deputy in a timely manner.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable. Good understanding of guest services principles and practices. Excellent phone etiquette skills are required for effective communication with guests and clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 25,396.80 per year
