Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and meets health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils used during meal preparation. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of fried items. Assist in inventory management by reporting any shortages or discrepancies in supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations. Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in kitchen operations with experience in meal preparation and food preparation techniques. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent culinary skills, particularly in frying methods, with a creative approach to food presentation. Team player with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to menu changes as required.
