Job Description

Valerio's fish and chip shop are currently looking to employ a Fryer/Shift Supervisor to work in our busy, award winning shop.

The position will offer the opportunity to build a career within the frying and catering industry.

The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and constantly work to a high standard. Organising the team on shift to work effectively and efficiently.

Duties include:



Food preparation

Frying a wide variety of foods

Cleaning and maintaining equipment

Stock management

Cash handling

Leading the team on shift

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food hygiene and following health and safety procedures within the workplace.

They should also have strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team in ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Experience within the catering or fast food industry would be beneficial however not a requirement as full training will be provided. Previous supervisory or management experience gained in a fast paced environment is essential. Key holding and cashing up experience is essential.

Hours will be days, evenings and weekends.

Excellent rates of pay.

Candidates must be aged 18 and over.
