Full Stack Engineer

to take ownership of our existing codebase and lead the development and launch of our platform. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack and product roadmap.

As our

Full Stack Engineer

, you will be responsible for managing and further developing our platform, which has been built with a combination of

PHP

and

Java

for backend services,

Angular

for the frontend, and various relational databases. You will work closely with the founding team to deliver on the product roadmap, manage technical debt, and drive the evolution of our platform.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the existing codebase, maintaining and enhancing its stability, scalability, and performance. Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from system design and architecture to deployment and monitoring. Collaborate closely with the founding team to define, prioritise, and implement the product roadmap. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the platform by leveraging cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker). Monitor system performance, proactively address technical issues, and maintain operational excellence. Implement new features, fix bugs, and reduce technical debt to ensure the platform remains competitive and robust. Manage database technologies and integrate third-party services as needed to support platform functionality. Drive continuous improvements in code quality, architecture, and technical processes. Act as a technical leader within the company, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and future hiring decisions as we grow the team.

Skills

5+ years

of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend technologies. Strong expertise in

PHP

and

Java

for building web services and APIs. Proficiency with

Angular

or other modern frontend frameworks for building responsive user interfaces. Experience with

AWS

for managing cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience with

Docker

for containerization and deployment of applications. Familiarity with relational databases Experience integrating

third-party services

via APIs and managing external dependencies. Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Proven ability to own and manage the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Ability to manage technical debt and optimise legacy systems for future scalability. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Nice to Have:

Experience with PropTech or real estate technology platforms. Experience scaling early-stage SaaS platforms. Familiarity with Agile or Lean development methodologies. Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Pay: 45,000.00-65,000.00 per year
