Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of bar operations, including drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation and culinary techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hotel or resort operations is a plus
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
