To ensure that all our customers are looked after in a special way that makes them feel welcome and cared for

To prepare cakes in the morning for opening and then to operate the kitchen during service along with helping front of house in the cafe

To provide amazing hospitality to all users of the cafe

To be flexible both in front of house and back of house duties

To be an active and supportive team member, contributing in a constructive manner and treating all Pastelaria team members and customers with politeness and courtesy.

To work in a way that is consistent with Pastelaria's vision, including active participation in outside events we may have occasionally

To provide excellent customer service, serving customers promptly, courteously and with a smile.

To ensure that you are assisting in improving sales in the cafe

To help with any promotions that the cafe will run to increase sales

To fully comply with all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.

Ensuring that food and drink served to customers is of a consistently high standard and is well presented.

To develop knowledge of products and share that knowledge with customers and other team members in a confident manner.

To maintain a clean and tidy environment at all times in the cafe and preparation areas including washing up.

To assist in the set up, set down and cleaning of the cafe and kitchen according to the company Health and Safety procedure on a daily basis and as required.

To be responsible for the cash handling processes within the cafe.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
