We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity in culinary operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all aspects of food production. Previous restaurant experience and food preparation skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
Ensure all food production meets quality standards, consistency, and presentation expectations
Lead by example in fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence and professionalism
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong supervisory and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
Demonstrable experience in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and promote teamwork
Previous experience in food production, hospitality service, or serving is desirable
Formal culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential
