Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary considerations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences.
