The Honey Pot Private Day Nursery works in a positive partnership with our staff, children, families and outside agencies to create an inclusive learning environment which is safe, nurturing, encouraging and respectful to all individuals.
To provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment for all children to flourish
For all children to develop in all areas of learning whilst building upon their confidence and resilience, making choices and exploring different cultures and celebrations.
To help all children prepare for the next steps, in and outside of our home from home setting.
Our aims contribute to our children's capabilities as successful learners, to gain responsibility and become effective contributors. We thrive on exploring the needs and interest of the children for them to reach their full potential, to become their best selves and working towards their next steps. This also corresponds with preparing for their futures, whatever it may be.
We pride ourselves in our setting being called a "home from home setting" and being "an extended family" to our families who are at The Honey Pot. Every day is a learning day and there is always lots of activities and resources to choose from our enabling environment. We explore lots of different topics and celebrations, but we always have the children's interests at heart and will adapt to what and how they want to learn as well. All staff have regular continuous development training which is a working document, we also use peer review to reflect on our work and fulfil our learning potential.
