Job Description

We are looking for someone amazing to join our team on a permanent full time basis starting in August 2025.

You must love customer service, have plenty of initiative, be a self starter, love selling and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. A love of chocolate is a bonus!

General Assistant: Minimum 30 hrs. Includes Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis. Barista trained, food preparation and retail experience preferred. Must be available to work weekends.

Roles and responsibilities: This role is a varied one as you will be trained to cover all aspects of Choccotastic's operation.

Duties will include and are not limited to: customer service, preparing food & drinks, desserts and ice cream, cleaning, selling chocolate products, till work and cash handling, assisting with chocolate workshops, assisting with booked events, packing & labeling chocolate in manufacturing area, assist with promotion and participate/ feature in social media content.

Preferred Qualifications: Self starter, Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), Experience in food preparation and barista roles, Supervisory experience, Excellent time management and organisational skills, Knowledge of merchandising techniques, Excellent customer service skills and proficient phone etiquette, Food hygiene certificate.

Full training will be given, opportunity for the right applicant to progress to leading shifts and be responsible person/ key holder.
