We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in a role focused on food preparation and culinary services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing excellent service in a busy kitchen environment. Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards Support the team in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including washing dishes and cleaning work surfaces Follow food safety regulations and procedures at all times to ensure compliance with health standards Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expiry dates Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues during busy periods and ensuring timely service

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is advantageous Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting, including meal preparation or serving, will be considered beneficial Familiarity with culinary techniques and food presentation is a plus A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills within a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.62 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
