Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation, including portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Demonstrated skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food presentation. Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
