Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a full time driver. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for delivering products across predominantly Essex, London and Kent.

Part of the Maico Group, this role will join an established team within a growing company.

Key Tasks:

Driving company vans, transporting products from our Wickford site to multi drop destinations in a timely manner Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs. Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route Interacting with clients in professional conduct Working flexibly across the week as demand dictates Maintaining an organised travel schedule Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always clean & ready for use Coordinating appropriately for vehicle repairs when necessary Updating monthly mileage records and any other administration Maintaining a full driving licence Perform other duties as required as required

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

A valid driver's license 1-year driving experience Extensive knowledge of the operating area Physically fit as role requires heavy lifting Excellent organisational and time management skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills - good verbal communication Proficiency using GPS devices Must be able to work on own initiative and prioritise own work load with the ability to be flexible with urgent jobs as well as general daily tasks, occasionally working outside normal hours.

Pay: 13.50 per hour
