Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work closely with both the kitchen and service teams to maintain high standards of hospitality and food production while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise front of house staff, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to service standards. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Train and mentor team members in hospitality best practices and culinary knowledge. Manage customer interactions, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times. Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies and communicate needs to management. Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences. Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is an asset.
