Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Live in Carer to provide high quality care and companionship for my elderly Nan and sister who has severe learning difficulties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in supporting others to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own home.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation. Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required. Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping.

Experience

Ideal candidates will possess experience in caregiving roles such as:

Assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Providing patient care in hospice or home care settings. Experience with senior care and learning difficulties is highly desirable. Pay: 97.68-159.14 per day
