Resonsibilities
Customer service
: Greet customers, create a welcoming atmosphere, and provide a pleasant drinking experience
Taking orders
: Use a till to take orders and payments, and handle cash
Serving drinks
: Serve drinks at the bar or at the table,
Cleaning
: Keep the bar clean and well stocked, and collect glasses and wash up
Advising customers
: Give advice on drinks to suit customers' tastes, and advise customers about promotions
Health and safety
: Follow health and safety guidelines, and ensure all health, safety, hygiene and licensing regulations are met
Age verification
: Check customers' identification and age verification
Skills and qualifications
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
Ability to handle cash and card payments
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
Applicants should present a good standard of personal presentation, able to work under own initiative and as part of a team and have good customer service skills.
Applicants should be flexible with regards to weekly shift pattern and must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Shift bonus received for working Late Night Shifts at weekends
Personal License holder for the shift also receives shift bonus
This position is a seasonal position with the season ending start of October. Opportunity to stay on over the winter can be discussed.
