The Ashby Dental Practice is seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive and caring team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and telephone callers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a person, preferably with office experience in a Medical/Dentistry environment and strong administrative skills (although not essential as full training will be given). The position is suitable for applicants who are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Duties
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Manage incoming calls using phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
Handle correspondence, emails, and messages efficiently
Maintain appointment schedules and organise meetings using organisational skills
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation
Update and maintain records in relevant software systems
Support other administrative staff as required to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements
Proven office experience or clerical experience in a similar role. Preferably within the Dentistry/Medical environment but certainly not essential as training will be given to any successful applicant if required
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
First class phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and organisational ability are essential for success in this role
