The Club

The

Oxford and Cambridge Club

is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiard room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Role

We are recruiting for a

Security Person

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. The role is a full time position with a mixture of shifts working any 5 days out of 7 to join our existing Security Team. Occasional public holiday working may be required.

The Person

Previous experience in a similar role Very well organised and vigilant at all times Able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communications skills with good spoken and written English Excellent attention to detail

Main Duties

Keep a constant check on the back door, never leaving the area unattended Security of the Clubs staff and goods delivery entrance, ensuring visitors, staff and contractors follow sign in procedures Check in agency staff Keep back of house areas clean and tidy Clean the Area and mop and sweep and put in and out the bins and recycling Keep the area under surveillance and ensure staff adhere to breaks and rules. Responsible for refuse disposal Monitoring of the CCTV system Security check of the building Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to
