Full Time Waiting/ Banqueting Staff required for Edinburgh Private Members' Club. This is a split role between our Terrace Restaurant and Banqueting.
Duties include the serving of food and drinks, setting and clearing banquet rooms, moving tables and chairs and some light cleaning. Some holiday cover for other departments will be necessary, such as bar, main dining room and front desk porters.
Basic hours are 39 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. With every second weekend off (Saturday and Sunday).
The weekly rota will depend on the business available and be set by the head of department on the Wednesday for the following week,
Rate of pay is 12.30 per hour initially rising to 12.60 in April, paid direct to bank weekly. The Club operates a staff fund scheme in lieu of tipping. This is fully distributed between the staff and paid monthly.
Applicants must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Applicants should have previous experience in a hotel/ restaurant or banqueting environment.
