We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation are consistently met.
Oversee meal preparation, including portion control and plating techniques.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly desirable.
