Full-time position with 40 hours/week average (6-weekly rotational schedule) Weekend rotation: 1:3 Saturday, 1:6 Sunday Rota includes consulting, surgery, ward, and ECC departments On-call commitment (last resort rotation) Salary range: 45,000-61,000 (based on experience) Strong support from senior medics, experienced RVNs, and clinical managers Access to advanced facilities: CT scanner, commercial laboratory, experienced surgical team
Must-Have Requirements
Veterinary Qualification:
Registered veterinary surgeon (RCVS qualified)Experience Level:
Experienced GP vet with demonstrated competency in routine proceduresClinical Competencies:
Proficiency in routine surgeries (spay procedures, dentals) Capability to manage emergency/critical care cases Ability to work independently while supporting team-based environmentWork Environment:
Experience or comfort working in hospital/referral center environmentAvailability:
Full-time, permanent positionNice-to-Have Qualities
Experience in multi-branch veterinary networks Advanced surgical experience (orthopedic, soft tissue, minimally invasive) Emergency/critical care background Experience with state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities Track record of continuing professional development * Team management or mentoring experience with nursing staff
