Accommodation Advisor is expected to provide an accommodation advisory service to both internal and external customers for accommodations. He/she also needs to ensure achieving both sales and occupancy objectives.
The key tasks include but are not limited to:
1. Sales and Marketing
Proactively promote accommodations offered by our partners to all potential internal and external customers to ensure sales, promotional and administrative targets are achieved;
Organize/attend sales and marketing campaigns/events, both online and offline;
Visit students off-sites for counselling and accommodation information sessions, distribute leaflets, take part in off-site events such as education fairs, etc;
Assist the sales lead to develop part-time Marketing Officers to develop potential customers; keep their performance under monitor;
Visit accommodations to take pictures/videos for marketing purposes;
Develop and maintain customer relationships, both new and existing;
Constantly monitor market competition and customer needs; contribute to the adjustment of sales and marketing strategies.
2. Accommodation Services
Provide tailored accommodation advisory services to customers and help them source the best available accommodation based on their needs;
Facilitate with accommodation booking process;
Promptly process customer enquiries including complaints, providing information as necessary or escalate as appropriate;
Ensure that all accommodation information is kept up to date and communicated clearly to all customers. Be aware of contractual responsibilities to ensure that correct information is provided;
Provide assistance to students for accommodation check-ins;
Assist students to handle post-check-in issues when they arise;
Provide a high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Other
Liaise closely with UKEC UK offices and provide timely advice;
Communicate with UKEC UK offices to maximise student referrals;
Provide administrative assistance to partnership/ other colleagues for commission claiming and other processes;
Submit reports and data summary as requested and always ensure the information to be accurate and complete;
Attend team meetings, and keep the team updated on own current work/project;
Attend relevant internal and external training sessions, both online and offline;
Train and supervise part time staff;
Requirement:
Strong sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Fluency in English and Mandarin.
