We are looking to welcome an experienced

Practice Nurse

to join our vibrant, supportive team. We are looking for a full time, 9am to 5pm. This is a full-time or part-time

permanent

contract.

We will be placed across 2 sites - in Anson Road, NW2 3UY, and Queen's Park.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will provide a full range of nursing services within the practice, working closely with GPs, the wider clinical team, and administrative staff. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective patient care, while also contributing to the development and improvement of our nursing services.

Experience as a GP Practice Nurse and use of EMIS Web are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical duties may include (but are not limited to):

Managing patients' health and carrying out basic observations Child and adult immunisations, including baby vaccines Cervical smears ECGs, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and blood pressure checks Wound care, dressings, removal of sutures/clips, and foot checks Routine and travel vaccinations, routine injections, contraception, and health screening Happy to be trained in spirometry and run clinics for them Advising patients on health promotion, diet, lifestyle, and minor ailments Supporting chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension) Assisting with minor procedures and IUCD/IUS fittings

Additional responsibilities include:

Acting as Infection Control Lead and supporting safe clinical practice Developing and maintaining practice policies and protocols in collaboration with the Practice Manager Accurate record-keeping and clinical documentation on EMIS Web Stock management, equipment maintenance, and vaccine storage Contributing to audits, quality improvement projects, and practice meetings

What we're looking for:

A qualified and experienced Practice Nurse with current NMC registration Previous experience in a GP practice, with EMIS Web competence Confidence in managing a wide range of clinical tasks independently A proactive team player who is flexible, organised, and committed to high-quality patient care
