Job Overview:
As a Hotel Team Member at Hampton by Hilton, you will play a dual role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by handling both Food & Beverage (F&B) services and Front Desk Reception duties. You will be responsible for delivering friendly, efficient service while maintaining brand standards in all areas of operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Reception Duties:
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and process payments accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Answer phone calls, manage emails, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
Food & Beverage (F&B) Duties:
- Assist in the setup, service, and breakdown of the complimentary Hampton breakfast and other F&B offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Provide friendly and efficient table service, addressing guest needs promptly.
- Operate the coffee station and assist with light food preparation when required.
- Handle cash and charge transactions for any paid F&B services.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all hotel policies, safety protocols, and brand standards.
- Assist with night audit duties if required (for overnight shifts).
- Participate in training and team meetings to stay updated on procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or F&B service preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (PMS, POS systems).
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude, team player, and problem-solving mindset.
