Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic fully experienced Counter Assistant to join our team.

You will provide exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and ensuring a clean and organised work station. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and take their orders Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and kitchen. Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently. Work with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food. Follow basic maths skills for handling payments and providing change. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for engaging with customers. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced setting. A passion for food and customer service will set you apart in this role.
